IMPOSTOR

Cultural center Vodice

Thomas Noone Dance (Spain)

An enigmatic and intriguing look within to discover our inner demon, to explore ourselves, to find peace. An oneiric story told using object, dance, light and music woven seamlessly together.

Impostor is a celebration of the incredible puppet-sculptures of Brasilian Andre Mello created by dancer choreographer Barcelona based Thomas Noone. Eerie, dark, compelling, IMPOSTOR – a conversation with the fragments of oneself and a search for unity. .

Complex yet direct, it plays on our desire to give life to these inanimate objects supported by the evocative soundscape of Brighton composer Jim Pinchen and set within the austere yet suggestive light installation of the Catalan Marc Lleixà.
