Instinct is a physical and emotional journey from a point where the body is governed by an external force, towards a moment where movement becomes personal, authentic and driven from within. The piece begins within set patterns: choreographed reactions, repeating movements and automatisms that reflect the way we often function in the world. Through rhythm, resistance and interaction, the performers question the boundary between control and freedom. Gradually, a new bodily awareness emerges: one that is simultaneously individual and collective, rooted in listening to oneself, to others and to the space.

The Franjo Lučić Arts School is the central institution for music and dance education in Velika Gorica, with a history rooted in the early 1970s. Today it runs primary and secondary programmes for over 500 students, and its pupils are regular participants at festivals, reviews and competitions in Croatia and abroad. The school is an important pillar of the city’s cultural life, with student performances regularly filling the Galženica hall and enriching the programme of cultural events throughout the year.
