ART IN MOTION

Kinetic Collective Drawing

Dance pedagogue

Dušica Pejić

Visual Artist, Educator, and Performer / Belgrade, Serbia

Dušica is a visual artist, educator, and performer with over 20 years of experience in contemporary art, abstract expression, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her work bridges visual arts and movement, and she has exhibited internationally, including in Vienna, Miami, Paris, and Tokyo.

How does movement transform into a visual line? How can collective energy build a unique artistic composition?

This workshop explores the synergy between the body, space, and the marks left by motion. Through guided improvisation exercises, participants will investigate the relationship between movement and drawing—using their bodies as instruments to create visual traces on large-format paper. Each dancer contributes their own dynamic flow, merging into a collective, spontaneous visual piece.

More than just a creative experiment, this process becomes a dialogue: between movement and line, individual and group, control and freedom. Participants will experience art-making as a vivid and collaborative act where every gesture becomes part of a living composition.
Open to dancers, movers, and curious creatives of all levels who want to explore new forms of expression.
