Dance as a space of absolute freedom: that is the guiding spirit of Studio TEUTA’s programme. Five choreographies speak of courage, shadow, passion, loss and the search for belonging, each shaped by the belief that movement is the most direct path to the human soul. The pieces range from powerful ensemble work to intimate solo moments, creating a programme of genuine emotional depth. Together, they form a poetic and courageous statement about what it means to feel, to dare and to dance.

Contemporary Dance Studio “TEUTA” from Čakovec has been cultivating contemporary dance expression for over 30 years, gathering more than 70 children and young people in the Dom amatera of the city of Čakovec. The studio has received numerous awards and recognitions for its artistic work and has performed in Slovenia, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Spain, Serbia and Belgium. Under the choreography of Nikolina Mekovec, TEUTA continues to build a strong and distinctive artistic identity rooted in emotional honesty and physical commitment.
