For the closing night of the Šibenik Dance Festival, Plesni klub Vruća čokolada brings a collage of choreographies inspired by jazz dance, theatre jazz, jazz funk and fusion styles. Each choreography carries its own energy and character, reflecting the breadth and versatility of the jazz dance tradition. Together, they form a powerful and joyful festival finale, a celebration of movement, performance and everything that makes live dance unforgettable. A fitting closing statement for this year’s jubilee edition.
Vruća čokolada is one of Split’s longest-running dance clubs, with 34 years of continuous activity under the direction of Josipa Lujanović. The club places a strong emphasis on jazz dance technique and its many sub-styles, working with children and young people to develop both technical skill and genuine artistic expression. Over the decades, Vruća čokolada has participated in numerous national and international dance festivals, competitions and reviews, including a recent appearance at a dance festival in Dubai.
