In celebration of International Dance Day 2024, Art Alive’s director Aldina Topcagic, in collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, the Austrian Cultural Forum, and the Croatian Dancers Association, has created the performative dialogue “Displaced Rhythm”.
At the Šibenik Dance Festival, movement artist Aldina Topcagic and soprano soloist Margareta Klobučar will present a short excerpt of “Displaced Rhythms”. The artists will explore resonant spaces, intertwining movement, voice, and spoken word to delve into themes of war, violence against women, dignity, and faith, reflecting our realities, deepest struggles, and desires.
