Light in Darkness

On February 24, 2022, at 5:00 in the morning, my beloved Veronika and I were awakened by the sounds of unfamiliar explosions. Our phones were inundated with news and calls from loved ones. As we left our home, heading into the unknown amidst the gunfire and sirens, we felt the shadow and darkness of a new reality enveloping us.

“Light in darkness” is the real-life story that Veronika and I experienced. Stepping onto the stage, we relive those moments time and time again, filled with courage, faith, fear of the unknown, support, and the fight for life.

War deprives people of the ability to see their loved ones, family, friends. They can't embrace them, feel their warmth - there's a wall between them, dividing them. At some point, we realized that our lives don't belong to us.
